Use case
How SafeCodeScan works
A plain-language explanation of scanning, local checks, QR generation and export.
Benefit
Use camera or image upload.
Benefit
Create QR codes for links, text, Wi-Fi and contacts.
Benefit
Export PNG, SVG and PDF files.
Privacy
Local-first by design
Local means the browser performs the work on your device unless you deliberately open or share something.
Scanner
The scanner can use camera access after a user action or decode a local image upload. It shows the raw content before any link is opened.
Generator and editor
The generator creates QR payloads for URLs, text, Wi-Fi, vCards, email, phone, SMS, location, calendar, SEPA/EPC and crypto addresses. The editor changes colors, shapes, frame and export settings.
Exports
QR codes can be exported as PNG, SVG or PDF. Quality checks help with contrast, quiet zone, logo size and readability.
Method
How the check works
SafeCodeScan decodes the payload locally, separates readable parts such as protocol, host, path and parameters, then explains common warning signs in plain language.
Limits
No result is a guarantee
A code can change behavior after you open a destination. Always verify the source, the displayed domain and the context before entering data or making payments.
Does this send data to a server?
Local means the browser performs the work on your device unless you deliberately open or share something.
Is the result guaranteed?
No. SafeCodeScan gives cautious hints and local checks, not a guarantee.
Can I use it on mobile?
Yes. The interface is mobile-first and supports camera or local generator workflows.
